So my occupation as a graphic designer has its perks. Besides the rock star status and flocks of adoring fans, I can do side work. This is stuff I’m in control of, I choose what to do, I create something beautiful, I charge what I want! Do people have a reaction when hearing the fact that it might cast them some money to get my services? I just had a buddy of mine from school call me up the other day and ask me to do a website for him. Ok, sounds simple enough… only to find out, when I tell him I’ll need money in exchange for my goods & servces, there are now other guys he knows that are going to do it for free. Shocking! That was quick!
